Home energy storage systems and chargers for electric cars

According to the Electromobility Counter (PZPM, PSPA), in September 2021 there were more than 35 thousand electrically powered cars registered in our country (including more than 17 thousand fully electric cars). The ever-growing popularity of e-vehicles is prompting users to look for solutions to charge their vehicles quickly and cheaply. The Electromobility Counter also indicates that there are more than 1800 charging spots for the mentioned number of electrically powered cars.

By purchasing an electric vehicle charger in combination with a photovoltaic system and an energy storage system, homeowners can charge their cars in the garage with free energy and in the event of a power outage still charge their vehicles.

The already mentioned energy surpluses can be used for this purpose. Thanks to them, we do not purchase significantly more expensive energy from the grid, but electricity generated from renewable sources. This is not only cheaper, but above all an environmentally friendly way of charging. In addition, when using an energy storage system with sufficient capacity, the use of direct current (DC) allows us to achieve a much higher power output and thus a much shorter time to fully charge the battery.

The announcement of financial support for owners of photovoltaic systems in combination with an energy storage (government program Mój Prąd 4.0, planned for 2022) will undoubtedly accelerate the development of this sector of the energy industry. The range of benefits, both financial and in terms of security, will also influence the popularity of home energy storage investments.

Home energy storage

An energy storage device is essentially a device for storing electrical energy. It can come from surplus RE plants, for example, or be taken from the power grid. Thanks to this device, we can not only store energy but, above all, manage resources

Why energy storage at home?

The following are some of the key factors driving the growing interest in home energy storage: · Achieving energy independence The main reason homeowners choose energy storage systems is the desire for energy independence. The ability to use the energy generated at any
